Centril respects your privacy and this notice is provided to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information provided to us by users. All use of Centril’s products, applications, and services, as well as visits to our websites (the “Website” or “Site”), are subject to this Privacy Policy (any and all of the foregoing are referred to as the “Service” or “Services”).

The Services do not include any third-party service you interact with via the Services. This Privacy Policy describes how Centril treats your information, not how any other organization treats your information, and it applies only to information that you provide to us through the Services. Centril reserves the right to change, update and revise our Privacy Policy from time to time, at our sole discretion, by posting the most current version of the Privacy Policy at http://www.centril.co/privacy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

In this Privacy Policy, “you” or “your” means any person or entity using the Services (“User”). Unless otherwise stated, the “Company”, “us”, “we” or “our” will refer collectively to Centril. “Personal Information” means information that may be used to personally identify you.


Information We May Collect From You

When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect information from you in various ways, including:

  • Log Information – We log information about your use of the Services, including the type of device you use, access times, location information, and pages viewed. We use this information for analytic and product improvement purposes;
  • Registration Information – If you register for an account with us, we will ask you for personally identifiable information. This Personal Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, your email address, your title, your company, your telephone number, and your address or zip code. We may also ask for information about your age, gender, and other information that helps us communicate with you and personalize the Services to you;
  • Preference Information – We will collect information that you share with us through your use of the Services, including information that you provide by completing surveys, your likes and dislikes, rewards that you purchase through use of your reward points, or any other personal information in data that you upload. We use this information to personalize the Services to you;
  • Correspondence – If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence and your contact details. We use this information to respond to your comments and requests and to provide customer service;
  • Location Information – We may collect information about the general location of your Internet Service Provider based on your IP Address. If you allow us to access your location information, we may also collect your geolocation information. We use this information to personalize the Services relating to promotional offers in your geographic area;
  • Information through other services – Through the Services, we may collect information about items or products that you choose to share with your contacts that you have stored on your mobile device and /or your friends in social networks such as Facebook® (if you register with us through another network, and pursuant to your privacy settings on those other networks). We use this information to personalize the Service to you;
  • Payment Information – Some of our Services may enable you to act on various offers or promotions by purchasing items from us or our partners, in which case we require your credit card number and details, in addition to the billing address associated with the card you use. For more information on how this information is protected, see the section of this Policy entitled “Safeguarding Your Information”.
  • Device Information – We collect information about the device you use to access the Services (including mobile devices), including the hardware model, operating system, mobile network information, and unique device identifiers. We use this information for analytic and product improvement purposes;
  • Cookies – Our Services use “Cookies”, which are small, randomly generated, unique data files used to identify returning users so that you and your device are recognized by the Website, and so your experience on the Website is customized. The cookie enables the Website to associate data with that device and distinguish requests from different devices. We also automatically collect anonymous information about a User’s IP address, browser type and referrer by logging this information from your browser. Your browser can be set to refuse, delete, or disable cookies, but doing so may interfere with your use of the Services. We may also collect information about your computer’s operating system and information about your usage and activity on our Website. We use this information to improve our Services and better tailor it to meet the needs of our Users;
  • Pixel Tags (also known as “beacons”) – Pixel tags are small strings of html or JavaScript code that provide a method for delivering a graphic image on a Web page or other document. Pixel tags allow the operator of the Web page or other document, or a third party who serves the pixel tag, to set, read, and modify our targeting cookies. Pixel tags may also be used to obtain information about the computer being used to view that Web page such as the IP address of the computer to which the pixel tag is sent, the time it was sent, the user’s operating system and browser type, and similar information. No personally identifiable information is collected through the use of pixel tags.

We do not intend the Service to be used by any individual under the age of 18 (a “Minor”) without the supervision of a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older (a “Guardian”). If you are a Minor, you may use the Services only under the supervision of a Guardian. In accordance with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly solicit nor will the Services (including the Site) accept personally identifiable information from users known to be under thirteen (13) years of age.

How Your Information Is Used

The primary purpose of obtaining the personal information that you provide is to provide you with the Services. We use information you provide to authenticate you and deliver message content to you and from you. In addition, we may use the information to market our products and services to you.

We may ask for demographic or other preference information about you through surveys or other means. The purpose of this information is to help us understand your preferences so that we can personalize information we send you and avoid sending you information that is not relevant to you. We also use this information to analyze usage patterns, which in turn helps us improve each user’s overall experience with the Services and on the Website.

The Website and the Services may contain links to and from other Internet sites that are owned and operated by third parties. We have not reviewed all sites linked to us and do not endorse or imply an endorsement of any kind. We are not responsible for the contents of any such linked site, and the use of any such linked site is solely at your own risk.

Information Sharing

Subject to applicable legal restrictions, Centril products may share your Personal Information with each other so that your experience is as seamless as possible and so that you benefit as fully as possible from the Services.

We may contract with third parties to provide the Services to you (e.g. without limitation, identity verification, prevention of fraud and identity theft, web analytics, database management, payment processors, email service providers) and we may provide personal information to those third parties in order to fulfill those duties. These third parties will not be allowed to use your information for any other purpose without your consent.

In the event that Centril is acquired or substantially all of our assets are acquired, your personal information will be transferred to the acquiring entity.

Legal Disclaimer

In the event that we are required by law to disclose personal information due a legal process served on us (such as a court order), then we will disclose such information as we reasonably believe to be necessary to comply. This is whether or not we notify you of the legal process which we may do in our sole discretion.

How to Access or Change Your Information

You may review, update, correct or delete the personal information in your user profile by contacting us or by logging into your user account and changing the information that you have provided. If you completely delete all such information, then your account may become deactivated. If you would like us to delete your record in our system, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation to retain the record. Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information

We collect information about your use of the Services that does not personally identify you, and we may anonymize the personal information we collect about you. We generate aggregate data by combining anonymous data meeting certain criteria into groups, and this data is used to improve the Services (for example, the layout of an application).

This information is owned exclusively by us, and may be used by us and our affiliates, at our sole discretion, in any manner we deem appropriate.

Safeguarding Your Information

We do not sell your Personal Information to anyone for any purpose. The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain security protections in accordance with generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information that you have provided from loss, alteration, destruction, misuse and unauthorized access or disclosure.

We maintain information about you in our business records while you are a user, or until it is no longer needed for business, tax, or legal purposes.

If you provide us with any payment information (such as a credit or debit card number), the information is encrypted using secure socket layer (“SSL”) encryption technology. If such a connection is not permitted by your browser, then we will not accept your personal information.

Although we use accepted industry standards to secure your information, there is no method of transmission over the Internet that is absolutely secure. We follow all PCI-DSS requirements. We will never ask you for personal account information or credit card information via email or by telephone.

Your California Privacy Rights

As stated in this Privacy Policy, we will not sell or share your Personal Information with other Non-Centril companies for their direct marketing purposes without your consent. Customers who are California residents may request certain information about our disclosure of personal information during the prior calendar year to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in accordance with California Civil Code Section 1798.83. International Transfer

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside your governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may be different than those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, we will transfer your personal information to the United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

By using our Website or the Services, you consent to our collection and use of the information you have provided. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes to our Privacy Policy will be posted on our Website. Please visit the Website regularly so that you are aware of the most recent Privacy Policy.
